Why MyLagnesh Studio

Most astrology apps either stop at a basic chart or bury it under ads and upsells. MyLagnesh Studio is built the other way round: the full classical toolkit — divisional charts, dashas, Shadbala, Ashtakavarga, transits and matching — calculated carefully, laid out clearly and free to use.

How the calculations work

• Planetary positions come from a modern astronomical model (VSOP87 / ELP based), accurate to about one arc-minute.
• The Lahiri ayanamsa follows the Swiss Ephemeris definition; other ayanamsas are available in Settings.
• Divisional charts, Shadbala and Ashtakavarga follow Parashara (BPHS) and B. V. Raman.
• Results are checked against established reference software.

Different software makes slightly different choices in a few places (for example parts of Shadbala), so totals can differ from other tools by a few percent. Where a choice was needed, we follow the classical texts.

Privacy by design

All astrology is calculated on your own device. If you create an account, your charts are stored privately so they can sync between your devices. We show no ads, use no tracking tools and never sell data. You can export everything or delete your account whenever you like. The privacy policy has the details.

Who we are
