What you need
Your date of birth, the time as exact as you can get it (a birth certificate or hospital record is best) and the town or city of birth. The time zone, including old Indian time zones and daylight saving abroad, is worked out for you. If you do not know your birth time, you still get the Moon chart and the positions of the planets — only the Lagna and houses need the time.
How it is calculated
Planet positions come from a modern astronomical model and agree with professional reference software to about one arc-minute. The Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa is used by default; Raman, KP and others can be chosen in settings. Houses are counted whole-sign from the Lagna, as in classical Parashari astrology.
Private by default

Questions
- Is this Kundli really free?
- Yes. Making and reading charts is free, without limits on the calculations. Without an account you can keep a couple of charts in your browser; a free account keeps all of them.
- Can I see my Kundli in Hindi?
- Yes — switch the language to हिन्दी at any time. Planet, sign and nakshatra names, the dasha and the chart explanations all change.
- North Indian or South Indian chart?
- Both. Choose the style you are used to; you can switch any time.
- What if my birth time is not exact?
- The planets’ signs rarely change within an hour, but the Lagna changes about every two hours and the divisional charts faster. Use the closest time you know; the Moon chart does not depend on the time.
