Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and MyLagnesh Studio (“we”, “us”) for the website and app at mylagnesh.com (the “Service”). By using the Service you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who can use it
You may use the Service as a guest at any age with a parent’s or guardian’s supervision, but you must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
2. The Service
MyLagnesh Studio calculates Vedic astrology charts and related information and shows general, rule-based interpretations. It is currently free. We may add paid features in the future; they will be clearly marked, and their prices and the refund and cancellation policy will be shown before you buy.
Astrology is offered for guidance and reflection only. Please read the disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
3. Accounts
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person; accounts are personal and may not be shared or sold.
- Tell us at support@mylagnesh.com if you suspect someone else is using your account.
4. Guest use
Without an account, a limited number of charts can be saved in your browser only. We cannot see or recover them, and they can be lost if browser data is cleared. Create an account to keep them safely.
5. Your content
The charts, notes and profile details you enter remain yours. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the Service to you. If you enter other people’s birth details, you confirm you have their permission to do so.
6. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten or defraud anyone;
- try to access other users’ data, or test, probe or bypass our security;
- overload the Service, or collect data from it with bots or scrapers;
- copy, resell or republish the Service or its content as your own.
7. Our content and licences
The Service, its design, text and interpretations belong to us or our licensors. It uses open-source software under the respective licences, and city data © GeoNames (CC BY 4.0).
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we ever close the Service, we will give account holders reasonable notice and a way to export their data.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on astrological information. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Profile & Account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or the Service at risk.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in India. Before going to court, please write to us — most issues can be solved quickly.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. For significant changes we will notify account holders in advance. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
